Thank you to fellow SCF members as you have changed my mind on how I organize my collection. I have taken all Vault, Ultimate Vault, Show Stamp, Buy Back and organized against the original card issued and its year. This makes it quite clear where the original print runs are, were extra cards issued are ... and low and behold I realized that for many cards where I have never seen a 1/1 Gold Version of a Beliveau, Vault actually filled out my collection with many blanks - albeit a extra or reprint of a 1/1.

I think the majority of collectors do not add these Final Vault cards (too many stamp colours) unless they were not previously released with the original set (these cards would have no Vault stamp at all). The 12-13 ITG Mike Vernon Motown Madness autograph card is a good example of this. It was not packed out originally, but surfaced (without a Vault "V" stamp) once Final Vault was released, thus heavily chased by set collectors to once again complete their sets after this "new addition" to the set was released onto the secondary market. There are a few example of these types of cards surfacing once Final Vault was released.

For those wondering, here's a pic of the Vernon 2012-13 Motown Madness Autograph that was released in the 2015-16 ITG Final Vault product. I found this photo online and this card sold for $130 USD. Notice how is has no Vault stamp?




Though I'm sure there are a lot of collectors out there who disregard Final Vault cards alltogether, stamp or no stamp, as they prefer the cards that were included within the original product at pack-out and no more later 'additions' to that set.

I'm sure you can add these types of Final Vault cards into the set checklist for full accuracy purposes, but deciding what is/isn't part of the original set is up to the collector I think. I personally do consider these types of unreleased cards included in Final Vault (without the Final Vault 'V' Stamp) to be a part of the original set, but that is just my opinion on the matter.

As for SCF, I'm not 100% sure but I think we did add some Final Vault cards into the SCF Inventory Manager so we could further keep up to date records of what hockey cards are out there (which is the purpose of the inventory itself), no matter the type of release. I would check with one of the staff who manages the Inventory like @Iheartjacquie on that one.

I think the other comments may have already covered all of this..... but to make sure:


Any "Vault" cards you see in the SCF Inventory - Someone asked for them to be added, so they had a way to catalog their cards. Pretty sure you can request the same thing.


There was no checklist available, so no way to just mass add everything.
