Monday evening, I went to a live radio show with current Chicago Bears running back Mike Davis. During the commercial breaks, Mr. Davis signed two cards for me, for free, in Bartlett, IL.

Took a drive to a mall in Aurora, IL, where there was an appearance by former Chicago Bears Super Bowl 20 winning wide receiver Dennis McKinnon. I have gotten him before, but I had one card left, so I had him sign the card, for free.

Today I went to an event at a Senior Center in Arlington Heights, where Dan Hampton was speaking and then signing autographs. Mr. Hampton signed 4 cards for me, for free.

After the first pre-game show, I went to Aurora for an appearance by former Northwestern Wildcats and Chicago Bears defensive end Corey Wootton. Mr. Wootton signed 1 card for me, for free, prior to the TV broadcast.

This past Saturday, I went to a card store in Downers Grove, IL, and paid for an autograph from former Chicago Cub and Philadelphia Phillies infielder Larry Bowa. The price was good, and you rarely see former Phillies in this area, so I even sprung for the inscription. I had Mr. Bowa sign a ball, and inscribe with 1980 WSC.

This afternoon, I skipped out of work early and went to the city of Chicago, for an appearance and bottle signing at a liquor store by legendary actor Dan Aykroyd. Mr. Aykroyd promotes Crystal Head Vodka, which comes in a skull-shaped bottle. The advance information stated that he would not sign any outside items, so I printed out a quick 8x10 just in case, but didn't buy any action figures or anything else. Turns out that there were not many people there, and he was more than willing to sign whatever anyone had along with the bottles, including figures, Funko's, ECTO-1 license plates, photos, ECTO-1 model cars, and more. The handler was not happy, but he told his handler that it was fine. Anyway, for the price of a bottle of vodka, I got an autograph on the glass bottle, and on my 8x10. I borrowed a green paint pen, and even though there is a small smudge on the bottle autograph, they look cool to me!
