    Notable Names Sprinkled Throughout Alliance of American Football Rosters

    The inaugural season of the Alliance of American Football kicks off this weekend with the first two games getting underway at 8pm EST on Saturday, February 9, 2019. While the NFL will most likely always be king when it comes to professional football, competition is always a good thing and there will be plenty of that with the debut of the AAF league in 2019 and the forthcoming XFL in 2020.
    While only 8 eight teams comprise this upstart league, many notable names have flocked to the AAF. Whether they’re looking for a second chance at a professional football career or they’re hoping to play a few more years before calling it a career, this league will provide those opportunities to its best players and bring excitement to football fans in a time when they’re still looking for hard-hitting action!

    Let’s take a look at some the more notable names that make up the rosters and coaching staffs in the AAF:

    Topps has already announced a trading card set that is scheduled to release in late March around Week 7 of the 10-week schedule. Perfect timing for those that have gotten attached to players or teams that may be making a run for the 2019 championship. Some pictures have been posted by players and Topps on social media highlighting some of the inserts that will be included in the product release. You can see those below. While not much info has been provided by Topps regarding this new set, we can confirm that the base set will consist of 200 cards and feature the top players and coaches from the league. On-card autographs will also be part of the debut set.
