1st attempt, 1st success. Bobby Shantz in 6 days.

Sent 2 custom cards to sign (and 2 for Mr. Shantz to keep). Asked him what his favorite stadium to play in was in my LOR (answer is Yankee Stadium). Returned 2 cards autographed plus a 5x7 of his own with a "Best Wishes" inscription. On the letter he also added "Thanks for the photos!!", so I'm happy he enjoyed the customs I sent for him.

Another GOAT TTM'er. Sent him one copy to sign and one to keep. But he signed and sent back both. Thinking about sending another custom I did for his WBC championship in the '85 Topps base set style.

The Herr card got creased on the return trip (part of why I'm still hesitant to send out produced cards). Chamberlain with the first inscription adding the "To Paul", and Larry Christenson kept one of the Saturday Night Speical customs, but added a signed '82 Donruss.
