On the ice, Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin is thankful for the strong legs he’s built over time because of the thousands of hours he’s spent skating. Off the ice however, Larkin says the thick thighs, huge quads and skinny waist have caused him to suffer from a shameful disease known as “hockey butt.”

Larkin jokes about the dreaded condition in a new commercial for Ann Arbor-based clothing retailer State & Liberty. The company focuses on making dress apparel for athletic men whose body types and shapes don’t typically conform to off-the-rack clothing sizes.
