How much is this mantle worth?

Damage is beyond the norm and I was curious to get members opinions here. I find it hard to believe that it is worth $6500 especially with beard all over it.

    Tough to say

It is in horrid condition but it is still an authentic card of one of if not the most iconic cards in all collecting. As the prices of the other grades go up and up in price collectors who are looking for a "cheap" alternative aren't left with much and with no other options this could actually INCREASE in value by a ton in the coming years even though it looks like garbage. I mean how many more cards from 1952 can be found hiding out there somewhere?

If you google 1952 Mickey Mantle PSA auction prices realized, this will give you a good idea of what it is truly worth (based on what others have paid for the card in similar condition). I looked, and that price seems a bit high, but perhaps there is room to negotiate with the seller. Good luck!

Let us know how you make out.
