    Hello,

    My name is Steve, I am 45 years old and I live in RI. I discovered this forum while searching for information regarding card grading. I collect mostly NY Yankees cards. A pet hobby of mine is to collect the 1956 Topps Yankees team, which I’ve been doing for several years, taking my time. I’m trying to collect cards at a PSA rating of 7 or better. I will one day pass these along to my son. Although probably not the most valuable, I chose to focus on the 1956 set because I live the artwork, the players, and sense of nostalgia these cards portray.

    I hope to learn more about the hobby from you through this forum.

    Awesome Steve, and welcome to SCF. I am doing the same thing in hockey but with the 1959 Parkhurst hockey set which only features players and coaches from the Montréal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Again, not the most expensive set but the cards look like artistic masterpieces, they are beautiful!
