Toysrus has 25% off the hockey boxes and last week had a 10$ off 60$ purchase so it was good enough for me to pick some blaster boxes of S1. The mvp blaster has a lot of stuff this year very cool to see. My only beef is that the gold script has no number of it.

Nice blaster, I agree that the gold scripts should be a numbered insert.

I love how they've numbered them in years past. Why the change now? Seems odd to me.

Hm. I guess they can't number the Gold Scripts, depending on how many blaster cases exist. It's a product that even (or especially) sells in Europe, and beyond. If you figure there are only 250 cards in the set, and 100 cards per player, then we are saying 25,000 Gold Scripts total printed. Divide that by 20 boxes per case, and it would mean only 1,250 boxes in circulation. I don't know how many boxes are shipped to retailers, but for the math to work, we would have to assume the cards would be numbered to, I don't know, like #/1,000.

That would be a... Bronze Script not gold.

I'd prefer the colors and contours numbered over the gold, which is the case this year
