Some of these clowns need to face longer jail sentences and have everything they own seized. It's soon going to get to the point where no one is going to buy anything but the crap they toss on the shelves of Walmart lol.

This is why the whole graded card scene doesn't make sense to me. It obviously doesn't work well based on many examples of same grades with very different looks to the cards (centering completely different but both 10's etc). The fact that they will regrade low numbered high value cards (the McDavid YG high gloss that) without looking at previous scans/notes on the previous grade.

I hadn't seen this one yet, thanks for the heads up. I read the ENTIRE 157 pages of the BGS thread and I can't believe these clowns can still operate. As a trained Collections Manager, I have no clue how people can pay money into a grading system that doesn't have any rigorous science or rules behind it...

It is disheartening but good to be aware of all of these challenges with some of these big graded card dealers!

I've purchased some really nice uncut sheets...I've never trimmed a card in my life BUT I have cut a few sheets...
Trimming is an act of deception, but cutting sheets?
When I have time I can show some pictures .... Yea, I cut the card but who cares? does a Topps or OPC er whatever it may be have the universal authority to cut sheets?
Trimming cards is wrong but cutting sheets yourself is fine in my book...
IMO, it's fraud if a card is altered if it came in a pack..... But sheet cutting is a different story .....
