New member, question about trading protocol

Hi, I'm a new member to the forum and wasn't sure how this is normally done. I apologize if this is not the correct spot to post this under. I have a handful of basketball card sets from the early 1990's that I was interesting in completing. I've went through each and have written down the number of the card I need. Do we just make a post advising the year, brand and card numbers from the specific set for which we are looking to trade? Again, thank you all for your help and guidance
