People find a way.
Stores probably have their hockey card stocks sitting in the back rooms already, and all it takes is for some people to "know a guy" for some product leaking out the door early. I'm sure it's not policed as hard as a regular release, since it's a low-end product released at Tim Hortons. Stuff is bound to show up early, sadly. I beleive the same thing happened last year as well.
Can't wait for the 23rd though when it's readily availible for everyone. Should be fun!Jhonas Enroth Card Collector & Host of the Hidden Content

it's not actually live until monday. Of course some stores poorly train their employees (they very likely physically have the cards by now) and so they'll sell them or in other cases the employees (or owners) themselves are the ones with those ebay auctions
either way....less than a week and we can all go crazy!!

As much as I am personally excited for another installment of Timmies hockey cards, I hope these young kids across Canada have fun with it, too. That's who I hope get the most enjoyment out of a release like this. They are the future of this hobby and in my opinion there should be more low-end released like these tailored to that demographic.
Easily accesible, cheap and fun. It also encourages set collecting. Can't go wrong with that!
