How Many Games Will Dwight Howard Last As A Laker?

Thought this would be funny to do. Like most die hard Laker fans, I was originally excited when he joined the team in 2012, but ended up hated him like everyone other fan when he left.

So after all this, he is back on a non guaranteed contract. Everyone is skeptical since he always says the right things when a team signs him before the season starts.

How many games do you think he last before Lakers cut him?

I think they will need him for a decent amount of the season. I think he makes it out of camp but will not last into the new year.

I'm optimistic that he will stay for the season (assuming he's healthy). He really has no choice at this point but to be a team player and produce, albeit with much lower expectations now and in limited time.

Yeah, he's saying all the right things now, claiming he's finally matured, last year was a major lesson for him, etc. He'd certainly have to be aware at this point that this is his last shot, and it's huge with LeBron and AD and co., so he absolutely cannot blow it if he hopes to save his overall career reputation (even Lamar Odom, for all his colossal off-court failures, at least produced on the court for the Lakers). But nothing astonishes me with Dwight anymore, so if he reverts back to his previous careless ways, it's not like I'll be surprised or anything.

    All season

They need him and with the NBA desperate for Lebron and the Lakers to do well (the NBA ratings tanked without the Lakers in the playoffs) they will cover up any negative story or friction he causes on the team. They don't want this team to implode that's for sure.

I am going to guess he will be gone by New Year. Hope he proves everyone wrong for sake of my team.

I give 5 games, all depends on how they (team mates) include him in their activities. He is needy and always wants praise. Can't see him or they going very far, to a point the even Lebron question his move.
