Hello, all!
Hello! I just started collecting cards about two weeks ago. My dad has always collected and has a bunch of 1953s, but I recently got more involved. I pulled a Pete Alonso "Polar Bear" variation out of a Topps Heritage High Number rack pack last night, and a Pete Alonso Xfractor the day before out of a retail box. Does anyone know if these are worth getting graded? Thank you!

Only collect Football/Baseball cards, but I have lots of Basketball/Hockey cards and set to trade for BB and FB!

Grading is more than is it a big name. Check the card. Centered? Corners sharp? Scratches on front? Finger prints (they don't clean them off). It's a good idea to get cards like that graded, but I have had more than my share of cards straight from a box/pack, etc... no grade out as a 10. I suggest you read the grading requirements on the PSA website (here: https://www.psacard.com/resources/gr...andards/#cards) And then decide. I've noticed there is a group grading thread here and that might be a great option for 1 or 2 cards.
Congrats on the cards and enjoy the site!
