Former MMA fighter Katy Collins has died after suffering an aneurysm over the weekend.

According to Heavy.com, Collins was 32-years-old and is survived by two sons. Her death was confirmed by trainer J.T. Tilley on Facebook: 'The fight is over. You never stopped fighting and we never gave up on you. Just wasn’t in the cards.

'I’ve always been so proud of you Kate,' he continued. 'We did it... I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I will miss you more than the world will ever know.'

Collins compiled a 7-5 record over her three-year career, which ended in 2018 following her loss to Jaimelene Nievera.

A native of Arkansas, Collins fought for several major MMA promotions, including Bellator and Invicta, earning the nickname 'Red Dragon.'

A GoFundMe page had been set up to cover Collins's medical expenses following her aneurysm, which caused a stroke and several seizures.
