I'm thinking the diuretic was likely used to flush out PEDs. Ayton needed to get a little stronger. Whatever the case, the Suns remain a mess. They were one of the most fun teams in the 1990s and 2000s, and it was fun to root for them as the underdog when Hornacek got them to overachieve earlier in this decade, but the last few years have been a dumpster fire for the organization.

Yup. I've seen people stupidly try and say he was just smoking pot and used the diuretic to avoid failing that test but I don't think the NBA tests for that anymore and a diuretic is used to mask PED use 99% of the time. People in the NBA use PEDs too even though a lot of fans still don't want to believe it.
