The value of this kids YG Canvas is rising by the day. Currently the ones on ebay are at around $110 plus 15 for shipping. I could see $150 very soon.
The simple question is, to buy or not to buy?
If he continues at a point per game pace for the rest of the year, maybe the current price is a good deal? If he levels out at 50-60 pts, than I would think the hype will cool down.

I would think it's too early at this point. I would wait and see what the prices are at when it all calms down, IMO.

There isn't a single defensemen post-1970 whose standard RC is worth more than $50.

Well that is a bummer, lol It's true though. He would have to win the Art Ross a bunch of times for that to change.

2. Only Canvas YG is released and e-Pack still hasn’t dropped
3. First 20 games, not indicative of future production

The 3 ingredients for wasting a good portion of money if you buy in at this time.

Yes.

It will drop twice in the near future

1 - When retail is released ( especially when walmart has Christmas specials on them )

2 - When e-pack is released

That's exactly what it is.

The moment that these cards are released on ePack, people will start cracking it there like crazy. Good hits like this will quickly make their way to COMC quickly, the prices will drop - because if you don't have the lowest priced copy, yours will not be the next one to sell.

If these cards were actually rare, this might not happen to the same extent, but they aren't actually that rare... and it will.

I'll be surprised if this is more than a $30 card in April.
