Post Arena Football League Files For Bankruptcy

    https://dailysnark.com/breaking-aren...ll-operations/

The Arena Football League is over.

A month after shutting down operations for all six of it’s teams, the Arena Football League filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Wednesday, ceasing all operations after more than three decades in existence.

The Arena Football League was one of the longest-running indoor football leagues in the country, beginning in 1987. The six remaining teams in the league were Albany, Atlantic City, Baltimore, Columbus, Philadelphia and Washington.

    Saddening.
The team, where I've lived all my life, lost it all in Albany. The Albany Empire were fun to watch and I actually had a friend who worked for them. He was in their PR department and was laid off due to the clsoing of the league. The league was actually going to expand to 8 teams next season, but with this obviously there won't be any teams :(
