    1919 Black Sox and a 1/1

The story of the 1919 Black Sox has always interested me. The state of the game back then, greedy owners, the reserve clause and the why of what happened. So being able to pick up these cards was extra special.

    The T206 I got around 1973 or 74

And when I saw that Upper Deck was going to do a cut signature of Cicotte and Gandil that became my number want listed card.

I could not believe my luck when it showed up on eBay a few years ago and I was able to work a deal with the seller. I was lucky, he wanted new current players and I wanted history!

    Very nice!
I trade by book value & buy/sell by sell value but always factor in common sense. Collecting David Wright, Derek Jeter, Ben Roethlisberger & Hines Ward. Looking for vintage/autos of Graig Nettles, Terry Bradshaw, Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Franco Harris, Jack Lambert, Rod Woodson and Superbowl/World Series MVP autos. Bucket - Hidden Content

Wow what great luck on that one. And thank you so much for showing it off. I've never seen that one before. It is amazing!
