1 Box of 2019-20 Upper Deck Trilogy

So my next edition of my Youtube channel's "Box Breaks with Bruce" segment has me opening up a new box of 2019-20 Trilogy. Was it worth the price of admission? Two autograph hits, one memorabilia hit, and four numbered cards are decent to get, but certainly middling. Neither the best, nor the worst box break I have ever had! The presence of Makar, Poehling, and Draisaitl in my box are nothing to shake a stick at, but like with any box break, you always hope for the giant hits. Nonetheless, it was fun.

It could have been much worse, you got a few nice cards that will be easy to move. I miss the old format of Trilogy, loaded with hard-signed veterans autos and more plexiglass cards.

Best of luck moving those. Shouldn't be bad at all since you hit some good names.

Curious about the price of the box. I'm pretty sure you are never going to get even close if you sell your ''hits'' which seems to be the norm since box prices are made in function of group breaks in these days market.

    Thanks for the comments everyone!

I paid about $115CDN for the box. Generally, I find that the average ROI on a box is about 30%. Now there are some boxes where I've gotten a lot less (looking at you 2005-06 UD Series II Hobby (less than 10% ROI), and others I have gotten a lot more of a return on investment (God Bless you 2018-19 Ultimate Collection with the 1000% return on investment). It's gambling like a scratch and win ticket, except you rarely lose all of your money since everything can eventually be moved to a loving home.
