    1992 Wild Card Surprise card #1

    I'm trying to find out how the Wild Card gimmick of the '90's worked. Did anyone ever get one of the 1992 Wild Card Football Surprise cards and send it back in for the "surprise package"? If so, what did you receive?

    I know the company didn't last long, and that the striped trading gimmick didn't work, but as a single player collector(Herschel Walker), I'm still seeking several of the striped versions.

    Great question and sorry I can’t help. I remember this set when it came out and am in search of Mike Singletary Stat Smasher Striped cards.
