Today is the day Kobe is the GOAT. He will be forever hardwired into my brain as one of my generations GOAT's. Growing up the Lakers were the team. It was Kobe and Shaq and then Kobe and Pau. The Lakers always had a pulse when Kobe was with the franchise and still to this day I will associate the Lakers with Kobe.
Kobe was always relentless in his work ethic, from what I've heard and read, beating people to the gym on a daily basis and working harder on his game than anyone else. He had a beautiful mid range game and I enjoyed watching every moment he played, even though I would find myself rooting against him at times. Kobe is a legend and he deserves the recognition he brought to the game and the passion he gave to the sport of basketball. Gold forever Kobe.
I pray for your wife and children and I hope to meet you up there some day Mamba.

Lakers tribute was amazing. 76ers tribute was very well done too. What the other NBA teams did out of respect shows you what kind of man he was. Still can't believe he is gone.
