Lamar Jackson Named NFL MVP
https://dailysnark.com/breaking-lama...me-in-history/
There was no doubt that Lamar Jackson was taking home the NFL MVP Award Saturday night at the NFL Honors Award Ceremony, but he’s superceeded exspectations once again.
After being passed on by all 32 teams in the 2018 NFL Draft, (including once by his own team) Jackson has been unanimously voted Most Valuable Player for only the second time in league history. (Brady 2010).

Well deserved...may have been a close race if Mahomes wouldn't have gotten hurt.

If he follows the Mahomes path, he'll be winning a Super Bowl next year!

Congrats to Lamar! Well deserved award for him
There is a huge track record going back over 40 years that every Quarterback to win the regular season MVP has at least played in a Super Bowl. Majority have won one. Quality QB play is essential to win in the NFL. Last QB to win regular season MVP and not play in Super Bowl would have been Sipe with the Browns. Won the award in 1980 and played from 74-83.Last edited by markw2856; 02-04-2020 at 11:37 AM.
