2019-20 (19/20) Upper Deck Allure VS 2015-16 (15/16) Contours | WHATTTTT!!!

SO, UD Allure is a new product, reminiscent of UD Contours, as well as OPC Platinum and Panini Elite. I thought I would compare 19/20 Allure with 15/16 Contours.

I sort of lost it, on this one, as I rarely focus on major hits. And it turns out the auto was the rare Quartz Blue parallel #/5.

Your Contours box was strong with the Brodeur jsy and Draistl auto. But, wow, the McDavid auto is a monster!

I opened a bit of Contours on clearance sale about one year after it's release. It was a fun break with an Eichel rookie year #ed patch, but I would never touch Contours at full SRP. Hopefully Allure will go into clearance sale next year.

Thanks guys. I didn't think much of Contours, upon release. And the price def tanked by 2016, like you said. But, it crawled back up like everything 15/16, even though it has expired redemptions.

As for Allure, it poaches from some of the best low to mid-end products. Hard to go wrong with that level of eye candy, at a price point that works as a present for teens.
