RIP Andrew Connors
Many of our long-time members will know Andrew.
There was a story in the news last week that he had gone missing, and unfortunately the worst has happened.
He was one of the good guys in the hobby. I'd dealt with him a number of times over the years and he was always total pro. The hobby has lost a valued member, and his family & friends have lost a good person in their lives.

Awful news. Was always a pleasure chatting/trading with him. All the best to his family and friends.

I found out last night and it was shocking. I had the pleasure of dealing with Andrew both in the card world and in the fantasy sports world (he was in a large hockey fantasy league for many years that also has many current and former SCF members in it. We had pulled off a few blockbuster trades there over the years). Always a class act to deal with. RIP to one of the good ones.

Been a while since but back in the heyday of SCF we did some trades and a few gb's. Always, said to hear about folks going before their time. Condolences.

I was fortunate to have known Andrew personally when I lived in Edmonton. Andrew was funny in person, intelligent and a nice guy. As I have said elsewhere, the fact that we were both from Newfoundland and Labrador, and both fans of the Leafs, naturally had us gravitate together when at Wayne's shopping or the trade days run out of the store. He couldn't understand why I didn't collect Maple Leafs' players instead focusing on players from our Province, but he liked getting first shot at my Leafs.
I don't have the details of what happened, we had never been really close when I lived in Edmonton, and I admit what contact we had really wained after I moved back home.
Andrew was a really good guy, he'll be missed and is definately gone too soon.PC Players: Hidden Content , Hidden Content , Hidden Content , Hidden Content & Hidden Content
