The swoosh looking different looks like a trick of the lighting. Ditto for one looking like a rainbow and the other not. The lighting isn't even in the pictures. This being a 2008 card the internet/ebay was already well entrenched as a hobby tool, trying to seed more than 50 of this copy by Topps to different coasts hoping people wouldn't notice is highly unlikely, especially with a card 1/# being more memorable than most serial number options to try and duplicate.

Speculation time. I see the 01/50 look like they are stamped in slightly different areas but not enough to be a smoking gun. Could be one of them was a backdoor card without a serial number meant as a damage replacement that was never used. I've seen plenty of that with other Finest sets. This replacement card then hits the market and someone added a 01/50 to enhance it's 1/1 charm. The font used on the serial numbers otherwise looks the same. Does the stamp printing look the same on the card?

They both look the same under the light and with the same angles in hand. The serial stamping is a bit off but compared with other cards from same set on comc it's common. I only started looking recently so only other one i have discovered is the 30/50. One of them could very well be a replacement card.

Or someone at Topps took one of the replacements, stamped it 1/50, then backdoored it into the marketplace.
