This is the oldest hockey card I own. I do have a Rocket Beehive photo but it's not a card.
I got this thinking it would be pretty awesome to own something from The Rocket's actual playing days. And I was right.
1954-55 Parkhurst #7 Maurice Richard
Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

The Barilko story has glory and tragedy. Which makes that card even more special. Thanks for posting, Paul!
This isn't an entry, but to commemorate the goal, here is my favorite Barilko card that I have:

Here is an entry. I was able to "rescue" some very nice cards, a friend's dad passed away a couple years ago and his mom recently found a couple tubs of cards. I told him I would love to see what he had and was shocked at some of the cards (pre COVID). I picked up a few singles from the 50's/60's, and a few sets of 70's OPC including all 3 WHA sets I needed. A nice copy of a 1960/61 Parkhurst of Mr Hockey.

Here are some of the other key singles I bought. Condition on some of them is very nice, may be doing a first submission to PSA when this mess is all over.

Hey although I do not have any hockey cards from 1975 or earlier, I do have this set I am working on
1956 Topps Elvis Presley ( 66 card set and I am 13 cards short as of today)
His is the KING and was my Fathers Favourite (passed away in 2016) and I was also a fan so I am trying to finish this set soon I hope, getting very hard to locate these cards, as most of mine are in good shape, would say about 6-8 on grading scale.
anyway love the contest and just wanted to show this card and set off.
thanks
jim
