With Kapernick not coming back is his cards worth picking up?
With Kapernick not ocming back I envision a lot of scarcity, but at the same time he is controversial, so what do you think, you think his cards and memorabilia will go up? or become bottom feeder junk? I picked up this card in hopes it goes way up!!

They will go down. I compare him to Chad Johnson, Antonio Brown, Tim Tebow, Johnny Manziel it doesn't matter what you do off the field if you are doing nothing on the field.

Whoa! That is an awesome card! Congrats on the pickup!
At the end of the day, you really have to collect what you like.Last edited by Parkerplenty; 05-06-2020 at 08:30 AM.

If you actually paid what that says you paid you basically gave the person the shovel to beat your head in.

Interesting, the first auction the OP linked to and said picked up ended on April 5th at $3,999. I saw it was relisted and ended later on April 13th for $11,999! OP I gotta ask, did you buy it the first time around and feel like you didn't pay enough?!

I also noticed the card was relisted again and at a MUCH higher price and wondered who owns the card currently since the OP said it was his card.
Personal thoughts? I would not buy his cards for investment reasons. I personally think that would be a bad “investment”. His history could down down as an amazing activist or what not but history buffs and human rights activists are not the ones buying football cards. Like others have said his cards will be bought because of his actions on the field and I believe his career statistics are locked in and not going to change.

I dont know if you've been checking eBay, but you might want to put your card up for auction.
