    Hello everyone

    I am getting back into the hobby after being out for close to 20 years. Had a large collection of autographed football merch, mini helmts, PP&K Library and other football books, cards, etc.... Well, I sold just about every thing in my collection once my kids starting playing sports and I didn't have a room to display my collection. Now that they are grown and gone I now have a place I could display what I kept, which wasn't much, and got the itch to get back into the hobby. I am focused on Chicago Bears memorabilia, mainly Dick Butkus, Gale Sayers and Walter Payton. Living in Texas I don't see much of that stuff at flea markets and LCS' are non-existent. I am relying on eBay and once all this Covid garbage is over, may start attending card shows so I can put eyes on what I buy and I just enjoy browsing.
    Am hoping this forum is a good resource. Looking forward to participating on the boards.

    I saw you're interested in checking out some shows once we're in the clear again: keep an eye out for the Upcoming Events list here, it lists shows all across the country. And if you ever get up toward Chicago, they have the National Sports Collectors Convention there pretty much every other year (2021 is the next one there).

    @texbear welcome to SCF glad you joined. Good luck in the pursuit of some of the greatest bears. Be sure to check out all that SCF has to offer. Trust me i know what you mean on hard to find items on were you live i lived in florida gator country and followed the tennessee vols. Need anything just ask best of luck
