I like this one because it has a piece of Singletary’s helmet shell. 2002 Donruss Classics Classic Materials x/50



This one is neat with Barry Sanders and the slices of Face mask.



1998 Topps HOF Autographs
This bad boy here I spent what felt like at the time a small fortune on boxes and boxes of 1998 Topps trying to pull this card. I don’t remember exactly how many boxes I opened but it was a lot. I know I cleaned out two local card shops. Ended up finding this card at a card show and paid $15 for it. Go figure. From 1993 to 1997 there are only 13 cards on my list and some are very oddball cards like things listed as a Bears game program card. I honestly thought this would be the last card ever produced. Boy was I wrong!



This is my first ever 1/1 card. What a thrill that was winning that eBay bid.




This is the second ever auto card inserts of his. Completed set of ‘92 Pro Line.

This is the disappointment... Game program from the 1992 Cotton Bowl. I hoped it contained a card I have been looking for but it didn’t. The search for the 1992 Cotton Bowl Classic Moments card continues. I have never seen the Singletary card but a few others from the set are pictured on the cover of this game program.

Of course I still have my original I got as a kid and played with but had to add an in box to the collection.



These will be compared to several more I already had and eventually send the best one into PSA.

I was putting away the Starting Line Up above and took a quick pic of another I recently got “in box”

1995 Burger King Sports Illustrated College Legends Cup #2.

Very unfortunate that it was smashed and cracked either while in storage or during a move or both. (Edit to add) after posting this I found a new one on eBay and ordered it! Woo hoo! Maybe I’ll cut this one up so I can add the Singletary part of it to my binder.

Do you collect any other players, or is it only Singletary?

BTW....I got home from work this afternoon, turned on the TV and a replay of SB XX was on. (Bears VS Patriots) ...I remember that SB like it was yesterday!
