New to SCF, not new to collecting

Glad to have you on the boards. No matter how mad I get at the hobby I will never sell everything. Hopefully, you do not run into too many flippers on SCF as they tend to be everywhere especially on the Facebook groups.

i tried to get into the Facebook groups, but really despise Facebook altogether and the supposed trading groups on there were really just not for me. A lot of vile people on some of those groups.

I also hope to not sell everything again. I do sell off the things I do not want to keep, but that is just to fund new purchases that I do want. In my mind this is really still just trading when we can’t find cards that each other wants they are just buying the card I want for me!

Welcome to SCF. I think you'll find that members here are friendly and fair in their dealings. The majority of us have been in the hobby for a long time and understand how the value of establishing good relationships with other members. I still love trading cards and getting packages in the mail. It's fun to help each other with our collections.

Welcome in @Dashcol one thing you're not missing on facebook is the number of break groups that have exploded in the last 3-4 months. I am in one baseball focused group that was started by a former coworker and it has been one of the better non-flipping groups I've been in. I don't see as many flippers on SCF as other places, except for the guys who advertise that they buy bulk lots to sell (which to me is different).
