Vince Carter Officially Announces Retirement
https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2020/06/...etirement.html
Veteran NBA forward Vince Carter has officially announced his retirement from basketball, confirming and discussing the decision on the latest episode of his Winging It podcast with Annie Finberg.
“I’m officially done playing basketball professionally,” Carter said.
Carter’s career came to a slightly earlier-than-expected end when the NBA was forced to suspend its season on March 11 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Hawks still had 15 games left at that point, but they won’t be part of the resumption of the season in Orlando this summer.

He had an outstanding career and should be a first ballot HOFer, IMO. 25,000+ points, numerous seasons well over 20 ppg in his prime, 8 All-Star selections, over 20 years in the league, and perhaps the most memorable and exciting dunk contest ever back in 2000. I remember he was the face of the league at that time, just dominating and leaving fans in awe with his athleticism. His SP Authentic rookie then went for what Giannis' Prizm goes for now ($1,000).
I was a fan and have a graded SkyBox rookie; used to have an auto, too, but traded that awhile back.
