    1989 Phoenix magnetables

Has anyone seen the 1989 Michael Jordan magnet with the red banners at the upper and lower left side of the magnet as opposed to the regularly seen upper and lower right??

I have not seen this, but have noticed that the Karl Malone magnet has slightly different versions as well.

Thanks. I suspected it might be counterfeited but it's never been in high demand for it to be.

Yes, not uncommon for cards and related memorabilia from the late 1980s and early 1990s to have some slightly different "error" variations (borders, typos, and the like). There are some collectors who get into collecting those kinds of things, so it's neat to have both items.
