Hi Fred, I an also new here, but very distressed that you are 60 and hit the ground running here, while I am like a dinosaur and cant seem to navigate at all
I am into sets now too, but mainly hockey, working on 2000 topps heritage and trying to polish up a 1954 set.
I had sworn to be out of collectibles, had a neighbour who volunteered to help me recover some money out of my garage but he hasnt followed my 'take whatever you can get' strategy. so we just look at the stuff. When looking over cards to sell, I noticed several sets needed only a few to fill even if not worth much. Hence, Ebay and here I am on a spending spree like a drunken sailor.
Like many, I find fun at this crazy time sorting cards. Good times for the hobby.
Lately I've had to update my Last Will to ensure that when any order from COMC ever arrives, they know where to bring it. Do people tolerate that service? Rather than being a whiner about it at this crazy time, I am staying clear and looking for new ways to get my card fix.
Anyway, good luck, doesnt seem like our sets cross. Cheers
