Cool Don't forget you can hand out cards on Halloween

Don't forget you can hand out cards on Halloween! It doesn't have to replace the candy but maybe some kids would prefer it and you can always get rid of your cards and create new collectors this way versus wasting them by throwing them away. I know people are always whining about what to do with cards they don't want and this is a great positive way to move them.

I have been doing this for the past few years and it's always really fun giving out cards. However, due to COVID, I will not be handing out any cards this year, sadly.

    Next year!

Same thing here. In Quebec we have a 2 meters social distanciation rule to follow for Halloween, so nothing at my home for Halloween this year. I gave cards for several years, the kids enjoy them more than the candy!

No problem. That's why I do it.

Why hasn't Canada defeated covid yet?

There would be a lot to say, but I don't want to start on politics on a nice and friendly place like SCF.

I remember when I was a kid someone gave me some trading cards for Halloween. Unfortunately I was real young back then, didn't know what I had and threw them all away.

I think we've all been there with some of our cards from years ago. Happy that this memory was a positive one! Cards on Halloween was always fun.
