Joe Burrow our for rest of the season
Impact on his cards for now and immediate future?
below is quoted from Internet story.

“It appears to be the worst-case scenario for Joe Burrow.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was carted off Sunday with a left knee injury in the third quarter against Washington. Burrow was injured while being hit right after making a throw downfield. He was quickly ruled out for the rest of the game. Ryan Finley replaced Burrow at quarterback.
Burrow seemed to reveal that his injury is season-ending.
“Thanks for all the love. Can’t get rid of me that easy. See ya next year,” Burrow wrote on Twitter.“

Feel sorry for the guy as it looks like the damage to his leg was even worse than thought:

MRI revealed more damage than anticipated: Bengals’ QB Joe Burrow tore his ACL, MCL, and suffered other structural issues in his knee
These types of knee injuries, like the one Joe Burrow suffered, usually sideline players anywhere from 9-12 months, though each person heals and rehabs differently. But no matter how quickly Burrow does or doesn’t recover, next year’s status is now in question.

This is why I say it always a risky investment when putting money into young players. As QB position is safer than running backs etc. but in the end one play can make that card worth thousand of dollars be worth thousand of cents. Sad to see as this young man seemed to hold so much promise to a franchise that was in a desperate way of needing someone to help them become relevant again.
