    Motivated

It's been forever and a day since I've done anything on this site... but I am so glad i looked and gave this sub a closer look. TTMs are so exciting, I am completely motivated now to up my game and start sending out some TTM requests. Quick question for the group: Do you type or hand write your Letters of Request? Have you noticed more success with one vs. the other? Would anyone be so kind as to share a basic template of what they send athletes and/or celebrities?

Thank you all, I look forward to diving full steam into this!

I hand write all of mine but to be honest, I don't think it matters if its typed or hand-written. As far as what to write, that is up to you. Most people tell the player a favorite memory or something complimentary about their playing days. The only thing you should be sure to include are a please and thank you and a SASE as well as the item you want signed.
I collect NY Yankees, NY Giants, NY Rangers, NY Knicks, and NJ Nets. I am willing to trade. PM me if you have any cards signed by players from these teams.

Working on collecting all living New York Giants (football) and New York Yankees. The question is which team drives me nuts first!!!

I type. My handwriting is ugly so when I've handwritten to players they can't read it.
