How do you catalog your collection?

As my collection grows, I’m interested in coming up with a way to catalog it and keep track of what I have. What do you folks use? Are there any particular card collector apps, or more general collecting platforms that you use? Also contemplating plain old spreadsheets, but was interested in something a bit more established if it’s out there.
