Two O-Pee-Chee packs with Gretzky showing

What are the chances these are not resealed. I want them to be real but I'd need BBCE or someone to authenticate them first if I'm dropping that kind of cash on unopened packs.

I doubt they would sell for anything close to that price. Assuming they are in fact original, you get 2 Gretzky RC, you would have to send them for grading for any hope of getting your value. Say you get a PSA 8 and a PSA 9, they sell for probably $10K and $100K respectively, so you have lost a ton of cash. Say you get 2 PSA 9, you're getting closer to your investment, but still way behind. Maybe you hit the jackpot and get a PSA 10, maybe then you have a million dollar card, but that would be hitting the lottery. Very interesting to see what they sell for, but even more interesting to see what's inside and how they grade. I couldn't imagine the itch from having packs like that, the pressure to rip them open would be immense!

very cool... I doubt these ever get opened and will be authenticated and slabbed soon.

with an extra 500k kicking around... I think these would be a good investment and are literally a holy grail of Hockey collectibles.

put one of them on sale for 750k immediately after acquisition.
