Just got back into collecting after a 30 year break. Forgot how fun collecting really is!

I currently collect baseball, football and basketball cards! I would say my main interest is baseball cards followed by football with a caual interest in basketball. I am a disabled vet who hasn't been able to work the last 3 years. I am only 43 years old and the days used to drag on and I had gotten really bored. About 3 months ago I purchased a small plastic container of cards from the local second hand shop for $3. When I got home I discovered it contained several of the cards I sought when I was 12. Bo Jackson, Greg Maddux and Mark McGwire Rated Rookies, Jose Canseco's Topps Traded, Jackson's Future stars card, 2 Michael Jordan second year cards, 3 differen Barry Bonds cards from 1987 and about 20 others cards all of which eere in near perfect condition. The find gave me a little rush and brought back memories of opening new packs! I was once again hooked!

Thanks for your quick reply and for your service. Sorry to hear that you were disabled. Are there any particular baseball that you now collect ? I mainly collect gu and auto's of Orioles and Nationals, and "vintage" "BIRDS" (mainly 1982 and earlier). I hope, some time in the future, we'll be able to work out a trade and/or deal. Thanks brother for your service, I'm retired Air Force! A lot of the hobby has changed in the last 30 years but welcome back to the hobby! You got a sweet deal for $3 congrats.
