    Box comparison

Wife is giving me a small budget to try to find a box of cards for my birthday at the end of the month. I've found a few and looking for thoughts around which you would go with and why.

    19/20 Credentials
    17/18 Ice
    18/19 Synergy
    19/20 Allure
    19/20 OPC Platinum

If you know of somewhere to get hobby boxes (no MVP or OPC) under $100USD let me know.

Platinum has a lot of packs to open with some nice parallels including lots of rc's so that can be fun.
I thought Allure was kind of silly when it came out but some of the die cut parallels are really good looking cards. Chance for some low #d rookie hits also.

Out of the bunch, Platinum might be my favorite.

Credentials will be nice but much more expensive.

Ice 17-18 had some potential during big discounts over a year ago but I think price went up a lot.

Synergy is a product I enjoy opening by the pack when I go to a card shop, but by the box, I'm not sure.

Allure, I don't like the sticker autographs.

    Well, that's my opinion.

I like the OPC Platinum too. That would be my Pick, the price is much more reasonable..

Right off the bat, I'd remove 17-18 Ice, it's not a good year.
For me, it would be between Credentials and Platinum. Platinum has 20 packs and both have at least one auto (on-card to boot!).

And I'd encourage you to make up your mind quickly, the price for boxes is rising almost every week now.

Keep an eye on ebay, you can find some fantastic deals at times... I got a 15/16 Upper Deck series 2 for only $45 one time...

As for your question: I'm not very familiar with any of them as far as sealed boxes... I do like OPC Platinum tho.. Of course it really comes down to the "hits" you collect and enjoy be it; Auto's, Jerseys/Patches, inserts, serial numbered cards, parallels etc.....
