Exclamation Michael Jordan 1997-98 UD Game Jersey Autograph Sells For Over $1.4 Million

    https://www.beckett.com/news/1997-ud...ver-1-million/

They come close, but a Michael Jordan card has topped $1 million for the first time at auction. A 1997-98 Upper Deck Game Jersey Michael Jordan autograph sold for $1.44 million on early on Friday, February 5 through Heritage Auctions.

The card has several notable and historic features.

Perhaps most important, it’s the first Michael Jordan autographed memorabilia card.

The jersey swatch inside the card isn’t a generic gamer, either (at least as much as one could get on the MJ scale). It comes from a jersey Jordan wore during the 1992 NBA All-Star Game.

The 1997-98 Upper Deck Game Jersey Michael Jordan autograph has just 23 copies, each hand-numbered. It was found in 1997-98 Upper Deck Series 2 packs. Jordan also has a standard jersey card in the insert set.

This particular copy of the card is copy 8/23 and has a grade of NM 7 from PSA.
