Barry Bonds last year on HOF ballot

Bonds possibly never getting into HOF doesn't seem to be keeping bidders away.

For what it's worth this card has a population of 441, a bit more than I was expecting considering the price it commands.

Has your stance on letting PED users into the hall softened at all over the years? Interested in hearing what BO has to say

It’s a really tough decision. I agree with Devlin that it’s hard to know who did or didn’t. I enjoyed watching Bonds and I believe he’ll eventually get in.

Question, should Careers prior to the steroids and betting abuses, in Roses case, be taken into account, or just the deed

Just because the writers don't vote him into the HOF doesn't mean he can't get in. Look at what happened with Harold Baines.....

Yes those three, probably others, that don't come to mind right now.
I've wondered at times how 35+ yr old player can play hundreds of consecutive games w/o some kind of help from the pharmacy.

No doubt about it, he was a joy to watch play.

It is a hard decision to allow them or not. Pete Rose gets in then I think Shoeless Joe Jackson gets in. If Bonds or Clemens gets in then the list gets a lot longer. Again as said before, we are not sure he really did or didn't. I think it started the selection process of there talent on the field and what they did for baseball and the community. I not sure if there is a clear cut situation to the problem of letting people into the Hall.
