1987 Topps and 1990 Topps
I got a good deal on two of these sets but I noticed the cards are curved from storage. Why does this happen? Will these grade lower? I'm obviously after the Frank Thomas and Barry Bonds RC.

They are curved because they are old cheap cardboard that absorbs moisture over the years. I wouldn't think they would grade lower but if you have a problem with this or think you will just put the key cards inside a penny sleeve and a top loader. After awhile they will return to normal. Or put a heavy book on a large stack of them. That will straighten them out.

yeah all of them eventually curve from age and cheap production. A lot of people store old cards in their garage, which is a horrible idea because of the weather conditions affecting the cards
