2020-21 UD Series 2 - YG set

Hello folks.

So I’ve been in and out of the hobby for a bit. I took a few years off after the 2016 (Mathews ) year.

I came back in 2020 just as the hobby bubble was going crazy.

I collect young guns and their sets. Between 2017 to series one of 2020 I managed to build and buy some of the sets. At the time. Most young gun sets were going for 350-400$.

Is 2020-21 UD Series 2 really worth we’ll over 7-800$??

I also haven’t been watching hockey much. I have no clue who these kids are.

Just wondering what ppl think. I have no intention of buying boxes at these prices. So...Buy a full set now as the price will just go up?
Or wait cuz this is just crazy.

We are in strange times in the hobby. There's been a massive influx of "investors" since COVID hit, and as a result prices are at all-time highs. It's completely bonkers to see Kaprizov YG's $350. Who would ever have thought that the Minnesota Wild would have the hottest RC on the market and that it's going at that rate? So yeah, tough spot if you're a set builder.
