Yep old news. 101 years old to be exact.
I have always said it and probably even said it on this forum. Chicago is not a QB friendly place. I strongly believe the Bears could have had Peyton Manning his whole career and still never had a QB to pass for 4,000 yards. Think about it. If Peyton had been a Bear we would be watching Papa Johns and Nation Wide Insurance commercials with his brother Eli as the star actor.

No one wants to talk about how we've had TWO QB's who were on pace for over 4,000 yards though. Jay Cutler was averaging 254.1 yards per game and had he not gotten benched for Jimmy Clausen back in 2014. And who can forget Brian Griese averaging 257 yards per game back in 2007 over 6 starts?
But hey, we've had 32 seasons where we've had a guy run over 1,000 yards though. I'll take a 8-player booklet card filled with game used memorabilia of Gale Sayers, Walter Payton, Neal Anderson, Anthony Thomas, Thomas Jones, Matt Forte, Jordan Howard, and David Montgomery.
Let's not talk about how our franchise receiving leader has barely over 5,000 yards and played in the 1960s. Alshon Jeffery is 3rd all-time in Chicago! #BringHimBack!

Can't believe that no Bears QB has 4000 passing yards. I don't think Andy Dalton can do it either. I want to see the Bears be a contender again.
