New Member w/ VERY large collection

Hi. My name is Rod and I'm located in the Pacific NW. I'm new to SCF and am not sure how to start so here goes:. I have a very, very, large extensive collection of cards and assorted memorabilia that goes back to my youth in 1960's Southern California and includes some cards (especially RCs) and other memorabilia from well before the '60's. In the early '80's I worked in a card shop and expanded my collection exponentially and continued collecting hard through the early '90's and sporadically ever since. Primarily baseball, then basketball, football, a little hockey, and a myriad of other misc. sports and non-sports cards, memorabilia, and collectables.. Complete sets, starter sets, mini-sets, sub-sets, regional issued sets and collectables, RC's, and everything you can possibly imagine (I said it was extensive). I am beyond my trading days but wish to start off-loading my collection. I've got it pretty well inventoried in Excel spreadsheets but the collection is waaaay too large to enter into the SCF Inventory data-base, unless there is a way to upload spreadsheets (I haven't figured that part out yet)

So .... that's it for now.

Well Rod, welcome to SCF, from another "Rod". You sound like you're close to my age. I graduated high school in '69. Hope you have fun here at SCF. Again, WELCOME, Rodney

Hi Rodney. It's funny, to all my friends and family back in California I'm still Rodney. Once I moved up to the northwest 35 years ago I became "Rod". I looked at some of your posts yesterday and noticed the same name coincidence. All I will say to an OriolesFan - where's Andy Etchebarren and his unibrow when you need him? (actually I know he passed a few year's ago). He was one of my favorite players growing up, probably because of his '67 Topps card (& the brow) and despite Andy and those dastardly O's sweeping my Dodgers in the '66 WS (which just about broke my 10 year old heart). Anyway, thanks for your warm welcome to SCF.
