Anyone Know Anything About 18/19 SP Rookie Authentics Auto's?
Sorry for the typo... 18/19 Upper Deck SP, lol.
Hey, I have a question regarding 18/19 SP and any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm a bit confused about the "Rookie Authentics" Auto's and thought perhaps someone here could help.
Anyway, I broke several cases of 18/19 SP a few months back and obviously pulled quite a few "Rookie Authentics" Auto's, however some of the Auto's are serial numbered to /25 while others aren't serial numbered at all, so what's the deal with that? Am I missing something here? I mean it appears that there are 2 different auto versions, one S/N /25 and the other with no serial number at all - the same exact card, identical - so yea, to say I'm confused with these cards would be an understatement, lol...
I mean, perhaps I'm using flawed logic here but it makes absolutely no sense for Upper Deck to take two identical autographed cards and serial number one xx/25 and not the other... So what's the difference between the serial numbered auto and the same card missing the serial number besides the /25 serial number itself? I know the Auto's are gold, so it's not the color of the foil.
So yea, if anyone has any info on UD SP that would be great and highly appreciated.
Thanks.Last edited by Savard18; 05-07-2021 at 07:15 PM.

According to Cardboard Connection, the ##/25 are the gold parallel.

Oh I know that they're gold, however so are the non-serial numbered auto's.. Both are gold foil, it's just that one is numbered and the other one isn't... I have quite a few of both so that's why I'm baffled. I've been looking at the same two auto's and they're identical and I have really found nothing explaining the difference other than "gold"...
The only explanation I can come up with is that UD serial numbered the first 25 of each. That or the serial numbered cards are of a specific "grouping"...

Thanks bro, I tried to edit my post once I realized the mistake but it wouldn't allow me to edit the thread title.
