New ... confused on card value
Hello,
I'm kinda new to this and I"m just wondering if someone can maybe explain to me how to value
a card. For example this Michael Jordan Nba hoops 1990 card # 65
A good card ungraded, sells for $15 on Amazon.
On PSA grade 7 it sells for $16.22 average.
But then I go on ebay and see the card selling for around $2.... although shipping prices vary tons
and this makes everything super cloudy on ebay.
So what kind of value does this card have. Is the $15 amazon price like the top of the line,
almost hail mary price.
To get top dollar, is ebay the worst place to sell, is there better sites?
Thanks

Yes the Amazon price is basically the best you are going to get for that card. Amazon caters more towards people who really don't collect and may just be buying the card for their husband or a grandmother buying the card for their grandkids birthday. The cheapest price isn't really going to be the deciding factor for them as they want the card now to give as a gift so they will pay a premium.
To get the best idea of a card's value just take the past couple sales on eBay and get an average. And like you said you have to factor in the shipping cost too since some of them try and stick you with it by listing it cheap but having a high shipping cost so don't forget to add the shipping cost to the ending price.Selling All My Cards Here------>Hidden Content

hey thanks,
Seems both good and bad, good seems like some nice deals to be had on ebay, but
getting top dollar also seems tough.
Amazing the amount of different cards too.
