The T206 Honus Wagner is no stranger to million-dollar sales. It’s a sure thing at this point with the potential for falling records every time a copy comes up for sale. Such was the case on May 22 when one sold for $3,751,500, the highest ever for a 1909-11 T206 Wagner.

Graded a PSA 2 Good, it has a Sweet Caporal back. According to the item’s description, the card has been sitting in a personal collection for well over 40 years, belonging to the consignor’s father.
