i just did a deal with a guy named allen eagleson.
i know its not the same guy from the nhlpa
kinda made me smile thinking i was dealing with the devil lol
but i was wondering if anybody else has had similar dealings with "famous" people.

No quotes needed. I once sold a card of Georges Laraque (it was a triple auto... he was one of the players) to Georges Laraque. Not a guy by the same name, but the player.

I think someone else posted recently that they did a deal with Darren Turcotte.

One time I had a low-end SPA insert of Jaroslav Halak up on ebay (for like $1.50) and someone bought it.

About 3 months later I got it back in the mail with a signature on it that looks exactly like Halak's signature and mailed from a Long Island address that I checked on google maps and corresponds to an Arena there

yuppers that was me Ive interacted with Georges Laraque as well as Jim Tahti (sp) from global sports line fame on facebook but never finalized a deal.

I have sold a few high end Joffrey Lupul cards to his agent.... and I once handed Kevin Lowe about two inches of his base cards and a sharpie so that he could give autographs out to kids at an Oil Kings game...
